Joe Bushkin is a fantastic character that just takes you back to the good ole 90s. Middle aged man, hanging out with his hippy anarchist friend, drinking beers, cracking jokes and living it up at the trailer park. Reminds me of many of people I knew from my neck of the woods. Good time laughs here with some really great characters and fantastic black and white art. I hope somehow, someway another Joe Bushkin comic comes out, cause this is something special.
And my take away quote of the book, "We were the people our parents warned us about Joe." - "Yah, but now we're the people our parents became." Not only is it just funny, it's got those life pondering dialogue too. Like a timeless classic. Really, check this bad boy out cause it seems like it was lost in time from what the special features said.
