We go down memory lane to a game we've played so many times throughout life. A title that only gets better with age in our opinion and really sets the gold standard of survival horror games. Hell, this was the golden age of survival horror and it is always a damn fine time in Resident Evil 2.
No matter what console you grab it on from Gamecube to Dreamcast, PC, PsOne and of course that magical N64 version. All with small and neat differences in each version but still the same amazing storyline.
So we go back with a play through, talk about the moments, the secrets, the fun times, the deaths, the characters, the laughs and the horror that prepares us for the RE2 Remake. Yeah buddy!
And on the next episode we are talking the lost original version of what Resident Evil 2 may have been in what is now called Resident Evil 1.5. We go through the game which is beyond just a demo, with it's different characters, new police station, extra monsters, varied story line and all the coolness that any hardcore Resident Evil fan should experience.
It's amazing how far along this game is. There's glitches and rough parts but all and all it's still a playable experience. Hopefully as time goes on we can experience even more of the archeological find of Capcom's missing events. Till then, survival horror good times to be had.
So come join the good times and enjoy the frights on the Silent Evil Podcast.
